This past week was chock full of great opportunities to learn new things. I learned to never leave a tray full of squash seeds in my greenhouse or the very evil mouse that keeps raiding my flats will eat them ALL! And I learned that this mouse does not like Tomcat bait or peanut butter, go figure. I also had the privilege to attend two different workshops. PASA hosted a Agritainment Liability conference in Butler County at Frankferd Farms and our friends the Swartzfagers, hosted a Farm as Business seminar at their place, Footprints Farm. These conferences were a chance to talk with other farmers, hear good council, consider what to be aware of and how to keep growing and improving as a farmer.
I am always excited to sit and listen to people who have gone before me and learn from their mistakes and successes.
